This the book which made me to go back to the history of Indian religion Hindu. this is the book which will definitely make you dumb with its imaginary reality and the strongly bonded story. When my brother gave this book to me i just thought it would be one of those books which would give some knowledge or the fake story of the lord Shiva.... BUT as i started it reading it brought me into the world , which is the imaginary world called the Meluha.. I assure you will be immersed into it when you start reading it.
The author as worked and shared it well in a scientific manner giving every reason to what he has suggested. The Somaras which makes the men alive and strong for thousands of years and its manufacturing process whith its work has been detailed in this book. The author has made his best imaginary and the scientific reasons to explain the MYTH.. The SHIVA who is called the destroyer makes his debut to the Meluha and helps the Suryavanshis to ged rid of Chandravamshis, though it is novel of action and supernatural powers but you find a lot emotions and love.. Sati's (Parvati) love and the heart touching stories of vikarma people and the introduction of Ngas, the dreams of thr Lord Shiva etc.... are the incidents which makes you feel the book a worthy.
when you read it you should definitely tell the story to your loved one or the whoever you like because this is the story which you have to remember in order to read the Immortals of nagas and the third book The Oath of the Vayuputras which are its continued parts.though the book is based on the history of lord Shiva which makes you feel old and the boaring but i assure you its the book which is beetr than any other books of Indian authors like Chetan Bhagat.
I finished the book in 2 days, which has broke the record of my previous book Harry Potter for which I took 3 days. I can't say that its complete the author's imagination or the facts, But it would be nice to say that author has used both the historical facts and some parts of imaginative power to bring the book in such a great fashion. I am very greatful to him....
