SMART CITIES- How smart are they?

Our honorable PM Narendra Modi has announced the development of 100 smart cities in India. Everyone is amazed and excited about the smart cities. What exactly are these smart cities, are they necessary, whats their contribution to the country's development, etc etc are the possible questions that arise in a responsible citizen's mind.Let me brief you the purpose of the these smart cities in India. Let us first thank our new PM who has taken a lot of interest in development of the country instead of degrading it with lot of scams like the other governments we had so far.
Smart cities are those cities which include each and every piece of work, activities, production with the smart technology. It includes the smart people, smart governance (e-governance which our former president APJ had already introduced). If we are able to make everything smart by using the latest trends in the technology that should not have any impact on the terms specially sustainability and environment. Smart cities have to be developed from the scratch as our PM has done it in Gujarat called GIFT. If we start developing the existing cities in to the smart cities then again there arises so many uncountable problems which can not be solved easily. Hence the smart cities have to new ones.
Smart cities have to serve the people, help the government in handling and shouldn't disturb the ecology. Now one may get doubt that are the industries have to set up in the smart cities? The answer is definitely yes, because without the revenue or net production the city built with so many crore is just a ship built for decorative. The cities should have the production in many sectors but it has to satisfy the requirements of carbon credits and the sustainability which has been a challenge to whole world.

FROM MEDICATION TO MEDITATION

We all go to doctor for medicine to our diseased body. The well studied doctor examines and gives the medicine depending upon the symptoms we have. Where as the meditation is the process of gaining strength or realising yourself and making you get the ultimate happiness you are seeking. Medication requires a doctor and your value money but meditation requires just a peaceful, calm and a stationary mind. The aim both is to make us healthy. Medication cures you from outside (as you take the medicine from outside) where as the meditation cures from inside only. The result of meditation is so much powerful than that of medication.

The title of this article is actually borrowed from the Osho's concept of meditation who has given scientific reasons and proof for every experiments he has conducted on meditation. According to him meditation is something that makes you feel a freely falling body ( which is free from gravitational force). It makes you a perfect man, a peaceful and happiest soul for which man is struggling to get from the medication. We see  people around us going to hospitals for their health problems but they never get cured. It is like you are getting a wicket with a no ball.

Let me tell you a story of a blind girl who came to Osho.
there was a lady who was unable to see this colourful world. She was not the born blinded. She became blind when her parents refused her to marry a person she loved the most. She promised herself that without seeing her loved one she would not going to see the world. Her family members thought it as the silly thing. They thought that she was acting like a blind woman. But many times she was hit by the wall, door etc. while walking in and around her house. This made her parents worry and they showed her many doctors but the doctors said that everything with her eyes was okey. They showed to the psychiatrists also but the same results came.  Once someone told them about Osho so they brought her to him.  Osho asked her why are you unable to see this colourful world. Then that girl replied "Oshoji without my lover whole world is nothing to me i would not see this world without him". Osho called her parents to bring her lover. As the lover of that blind girl came her darkness disappeared and she able to see.

The above example shows her determined mind to resist her eyes to function. She thought herself that without him there is nothing as soon as she saw him then her life came back to her.Similar to this there are many people around us who has the simple problem inside them but even the well studied doctors are unable to resolve. The meditation answers to this problem easily. It brings lot of joy to your soul and life. This what the lord Bhuddha got under Bhodivrakshya. He enlightened with the meditation only.

When you look at the life of the Himalayan saints you wonder how they lead their life for hundreds of years. They meditate for hours and days to achieve the great powers we the common people don't have. The food they intake is the sunlight and the fresh air around them. As we open the pages of history we notice that the meditation was given great importance. The ashta munis (8 saints) achieved their powers through the meditation only. The process of meditation is very simple sit in a peaceful place, make your mind empty i.e. stop thinking about this mortal world. Through away the negative thoughts that come to your mind. To get good concentration either start with pranayama or chanting mantra. Brahmakumari Shivaniji also explains the same thing about the initialising of meditation.

By doing so we are definitely sliding from medication to meditation. You feel that you are the supreme soul, you feel that mokshya is this only. Increase the duration day by day and reach the samadhi. ( dharana for 2 hours: Dhyana for 24 hours: samadhi for 12 days.) Samadhi is the state of mind in which you feel the ultimate happiness and mokshya this is what the saints, vedas, Osho and Brahmakumaris say to us...

MANTRA

Some say that the on chanting the Mantras and the names of the Lord Vishnu or Shiva all our sins will get over! Is it true? Do we believe it in this kaliyuga called the modern age? Well its left each individual to believe or not but let me describe something about the effects of chanting mantra which i have been reading many books and also trying in these days.

To start with, let me tell you a story about this mantra..
There lived a man who had done all the bad things (sins) in his life. He had been the killer, murderer and was staying with a prostitute named 'Shivani'. He was very obedient to her.He used to work for her. Once Shivani asked him to bring the flowers for Puja. He went in to the garden of a scholar on jumping the fence without the permission of the scholar. He plucked the flowers and while jumping the fence with imbalance he felled down and died. Before dying he said "let these flowers reach to Shiva" he could not say Shivani.

As he died the yamadhoths came to take away him as he had done all the sins. At the same time the Lord Shiva's men also came. the yamadhothas said he had done so many bad works in the society so he should be taken to NARAKA (paradise). But the men of Shiva interpreted and said though he has done all bad things in his life he had called the Holy name Shiva while leaving his Prana. So he would be given another chance to live on earth and fulfil the duties of lord.

Though we are not in position to believe this story we should think of it as the shastras have explained it. on chanting the mantras we get a lot of benfits. In Geeta Lord Krishna says on chanting his name "HARE KRISHNA HARE RAMA" the man will come a clean and a peaceful man. His soul be the supreme soul. So many sanyasis have also adviced to chant the mantras or the name of the lords to stay stable and to have control over our mind so as the body.

You just practise these mantras (like Shiva Om, Aham Brahmasmi etc..) with whole hearted and see the result. You will feel that BRHMANANDAM (the happiest moment) all the time. Is it not the stage of Moksha (freedom of life) ehich the human have been finding on the earth a thousands of years ago?

The Immortals of Meluha

This the book which made me to go back to the history of Indian religion Hindu. this is the book which will definitely make you dumb with its imaginary reality and the strongly bonded story. When my brother gave this book to me i just thought it would be one of those books which would give some knowledge or the fake story of the lord Shiva.... BUT as i started it reading it brought me into the world , which is the imaginary world called the Meluha.. I assure you will be immersed into it when you start reading it.

The author as worked and shared it well in a scientific manner giving every reason to what he has suggested. The Somaras which makes the men alive and strong for thousands of years and its manufacturing process whith its work has been detailed in this book. The author has made his best imaginary and the scientific reasons to explain the MYTH.. The SHIVA who is called the destroyer makes his debut to the Meluha and helps the Suryavanshis to ged rid of Chandravamshis, though it is novel of action and supernatural powers but you find a lot emotions and love.. Sati's (Parvati)  love and the heart touching stories of vikarma people and the introduction of Ngas, the dreams of thr Lord Shiva etc.... are the incidents which makes you feel the book a worthy.

when you read it you should definitely tell the story to your loved one or the whoever you like because this is the story which you have to remember in order to read the Immortals of nagas and the third book The Oath of the Vayuputras which are its continued parts.though the book is based on the history of lord Shiva which makes you feel old and the boaring but i assure you its the book which is beetr than any other books of Indian authors like Chetan Bhagat.

I finished the book in 2 days, which has broke the record of my previous book Harry Potter for which I took 3 days. I can't say that its complete the author's imagination or the facts, But it would be nice to say that author has used both the historical facts and some parts of imaginative power to bring the book in such a great fashion. I am very greatful to him....

Say no to Plastic bottles!1

I and my friend were discussing about the plastic water bottles yesterday. We have nearly a dozen empty water bottles in our room. I was wondering how to through them about! I am a science student and I take care of the environment so i decided not to through them out, instead I thought of sending it for recycle or give them to someone else, who would use it for some other work. Each and every plastic that has manufactured on the earth is still present and decaying the soil and our souls.

If this is the case of our home alone, what about those where the bottles are being sold oftenly, like bus stands, railway stations etc. Being the young and responsible generation of India, we should take it seriously. What if we use the Paper covers instead of Plastic bottles? Take a look at the fruity, which is a mango flavor it consists of a single plastic layer only, remaining is the paper. Like this if we go on limiting the usage of the plastic bottles every where, the results will be beneficial to us and our environment.

Spread the idea of using papers, jute bags etc. to restrict the plastic usage. That is very essential now. Global warming warns about the nature calamities. We can lead the life without plastic, and several people are honestly practicing it, why do not we be one among them?

Aam Aadmi Party

Since last week there has been only one event that has been trending, its AAP. The political party lead by Aravind Kejriwal and co. It is Aam Aadmi Party means innocent people party. There are many people who ask is it right what he has done in forming a party to make India a corrupt free nation. Its not we who decide its result, one thing his sure he is going to spread minimumu knowledge to crores of people who are behing the curtain of illiteracy. No matter how they make their money and all those stuff, its the time to change ourselves and make our contry a well furnished, and economical.

The doubts arises because of the partition of team anna with him, but he is also doing a good job. The IItian, IAS officer turned in to a leader is the great opportunity for the youth to follow in his way. He involved in RTI and so many public welfare developments projects in the country.
We celebrated the 65th indipendence though we were in the rule of the other ruling parties. We feel very sad when we look GDP, Poverty, Population growth, Unemployement etc..
the time has come to change the leaders, parties, and finally the systeams.

Be prepared for this and get going to make India a corrupt free nation, henceforth developing India defnitely turns to a developed India. Thanks to Aravind Kejriwal who is doing such efforts.. Heads up to him..

Where we are lagging?

There was a concrete fair in our College (RVCE). Vice- president of ICI (indian concrete institute) Raj kumar Pillai was the chief guest. I want to share some of the words he spoke there which make us to think "Where are we lagging"?  He statred the speach calling us the engineers, and he spoke brief about his carrier. He mentioned the term known as the "employability coefficiant". Most of the students and staff who were there answered quite well describe it as the ratio of the employers to that of availability of the employers. i.e. we were describing the quantity where as Pillai said about the quality, i.e. its the total employers to the elgible employers. The data he gave regarding the quality of engineers we have in our country is astonishing.

He also stressed upon the "Chalta Hai" attitude, i.e. the neglegency, ignorance and the carelessness. Most of us do have the same attitude, he illustrated this with an example of his boss.
He said we have a lot of resource, potential bot we are lagging, the reason is improper or lack of quality education and the sense of responcibility. We afraid of talking straight, doing right things.

The present generation is in need of leadership quality and the communication skills, though there are many organisations come up in uplifting this, they have been failed due to lack of interest of the youths. We are of about 75 years behind the china. And he also said that China lags only in English, other than this its no way behind any other nations in the world.
So its our duty, to encourage the young india to imrove in all fields without hesitation, and apply dedication to your work then we no one will catch us and in no way we are lagging.
I thank whole heartedly to Mr Pillai for his inspirational speach..
